We are proud to say that we are locally based in Malaysia and we are one of the most preferred Tensioned Fabric Structures manufacturer throughout the country. We’re responsible for many of the aesthetic landmarks over Malaysia and ASEAN countries.
Tensioned Fabric Structures also uses standard steel so not suitable to say standard steel lose value over time. A few points to answer to “retaining value over time” would be:
- Low Maintenance cost. High-quality membrane materials like PTFE-coated fiberglass or ETFE film have naturally smooth, often self-cleaning surfaces. This significantly reduces the need for frequent cleaning and maintenance, directly lower long-term operational expenses (OPEX) compared to conventional roofs.
- Passive Cooling/Thermal Performance: Many membranes have a high solar reflectivity, effectively blocking solar heat gain while still allowing light through. This helps lower HVAC costs for indoor sports halls and contributes to a more sustainable building operation.
- Energy Savings: The translucency of some membrane allows for a high amount of natural diffused daylight to enter the space. This drastically reduces the reliance on artificial lighting during the day, lowering electricity bills and energy consumption.
In TFS, we have a variety of materials to suit any projects. For waterproof requirement, we have PVDF, ETFE, and PTFE (TEFLON). Meanwhile, for shade purpose with non-waterproof we have Textile Facade (PVC coated polyester mesh or PTFE mesh) and HDPE. They all come with several option of fabric colours available.
